First edition of the "Day of Passions" at the Assumption school of Colmar - 9 April 2006

The Assumption institute is a private school at Colmar, covering the teaching of children from 3 years old to 15 years old.
A lot of japanese families living at Colmar are letting their children there. Such interesting people for us as they are potential shogi players.
Moreover, Mathieu will be there weekly during a quarter to offer Shogi training during the lunch break.
As this school has invited us to take part of their first "day of Passions", we have of course accepted.

Don't be afraid! It's not a mistake but as a chess association was also there, we have shared our knowledge: some of us have played chess and the young chess players were curious to learn Shogi. This time, we offered also to teach "minishogi", a quite helpfull tool to initiate people to Shogi a bit more smoothly. Both Polish and Italian female champions were there!
Ok, ok, there is only one female player in these countries, but anyway, that was good, wasn't it? ;-)

Althought there was less people as we use to meet during such event, we have shown Shogi to a lot of people.
Some children...
...and some adult people!
Franch scout leaders and also some student parents have then learnt Shogi.
Belfort was there too!
Thanks to Eddy, here playing with Sara, but also to Christophe who came during the whole day to support us.

And during this time, where was Mathieu?
Ask the mouse: I think it has an idea about it... ;-)
